Hannah Minzloff Artist in Residence

Visiting artist Hanna Minzloff invites local artists, city planners, architects, community builders, 
dreamers and residents in exploring the potential of downtown Yellowknife. Forum takes place at YK ARCC
 (4913 50th Street). 
 There will be free coffee and cinnamon buns.  No registration required.

Given the rather derelict state of the downtown – from empty storefronts to wasteland lots in prime
urban space – this workshop is timely. It offers an opportunity for artists and community members 
to creatively weighin through story telling, illustration, idea, video, photograph on the potential
 of the downtown.This workshop will focus on creating both a portrait of Yellowknife at present 
while also challenging participants to envision what the city could be in the future.

The workshop is open to everyone.

Workshop Dates:
Sunday, September 22 1-5pm
Monday, September 23 6-9pm
One-on-one Mentorship / self-guided work
Monday-Friday September 23-27

Final Presentation/Exhibition:
Friday September 27 6-9pm
